Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Managing Director to lead the strategic direction and overall operations of a prestigious international business. The MD will play a pivotal role in steering the companys global investment structures, including managing the Bermuda branch and contributing to the growth of the broader business portfolio. This senior leadership position requires a strong focus on business development, operational excellence, and fostering key relationships across internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and communicate the companys vision and strategy.
- Lead business planning, budgeting, and resource allocation for multiple teams, including client servicing, business solutions, and investment administration.
- Manage outsourced third-party administration services and providers.
- Oversee the Bermuda Branch and maintain key regulatory relationships, including with the Bermuda Monetary Authority.
- Drive the achievement of sales, profit, and business growth targets.
- Build and maintain internal and external stakeholder relationships to foster business growth.
- Develop a media profile to position the business as a thought leader.
- Lead a senior management team, ensuring alignment with the companys vision, strategy, and performance goals.
- Innovate and drive technology adoption to enhance client and intermediary experiences.
- Play a key role in product development, risk management, compliance, and IT solutions.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
- MBA is highly advantageous.
- 5-10 years of experience in senior management, with a proven track record of driving high-performance teams.
- Strong knowledge of international investments is essential.
- Experience in strategic planning and execution to improve competitive advantage and profitability.
